2019 Mystery Trip

Well, it was a Mystery Night until the group saw the Festive Headbands the Program Committee displayed as part of their attire…LOL.

Not to mention the clues already out to the membership: Wear black and fringe (not cowboy fringe), Kenny Chesney is connected to this, and out of state bound!

The group guessed right away that we were on our way to DC to Cuba Libre.  47 members and guests attended this year’s Mystery Night Trip.

The attendees were greeted at the La Plata Park and Ride with sign in, goodie bags, (logo stadium cups, water, snacks, Cuban bubble gum cigar, and a festive fan), and libations (beer, wine, and sangria).

Our coach bus chartered through Keller Transportation was our ride of choice and the festivities on the way to Cuba Libre were enjoyed by all.

Once at the venue, we were greeted by a wonderful staff that presented the cocktail reception.  The reception included a cash bar, passed Cuban Fare, and decadent desserts. Candid framed photo shoots were taken throughout the evening with Cuban props and the photos are priceless.

Our night was highlighted by the performance by the  Cuban Salsa Dancing Partners. They were amazing and the group enjoyed the lessons, also!

Well, here’s to a great Mystery Night and looking forward to the Scavenger Hunt next year as we continue to rotate the two events.

Thanks to the Programs Committee for all their time and effort making this year’s events a great success. Carole Lewis, Tequila House, Natalie McKinney, Donna Ellis, Diana Rucci, and me - Becky Hoffman!
