Our Annual Re-Gift Exchange last Wednesday was so much fun! This member-favorite event delivered exactly what we love most: beautifully wrapped gifts that were practical, lovely, and even a little naughty; along with lots of laughter, unwrapping, stealing, and re-stealing of fan favorites. Thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a great way to begin another successful year together.

Dear Ladies of the Southern Maryland Women’s League,
As we reflect on this past year, our hearts are full. It has been
a year marked by both challenge and strength, including the
painful loss of close friends, and by the powerful way we
came together to support each other and our mission to uplift
women and children throughout our community.
Through it all, we shared meaningful moments: service with purpose, trips and adventures filled with laughter, and the kind of friendship and support that makes this League so special. Even in difficult times, SMWL remained a place of connection, compassion, and encouragement, and that is because of you.
As we look ahead to the new year, we’re excited to continue that momentum and hope you’ll mark your calendars now for some fun and favorite events:

- Queen of Hearts Game Night – Wednesday, February 4
On behalf of myself and the entire Board of Directors, we wish you a very Happy Holiday season filled with peace, joy, and time with those you love. We are so grateful for each of you and look forward to seeing you in the new year as we continue this journey together.
